ExxonMobil is expanding their existing sponsor relationship with the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, signing on to a multi-year sponsorship deal for the Nation Corvette Museum’s new Motorsports Park. In return, Mobil can now claim to offer the “Official Motor Oil” and “Official Road Fuel” of this new Motorsports Park. The park will also gain a Mobil gas station to supply patrons with fuel on-campus.
“We’ve had a long-standing relationship with Corvette and are very proud to sponsor and support a place where the heritage of this iconic American car is celebrated each and every day,” said ExxonMobil Strategic Global Alliance Manager David Tsurusaki. Mobil 1 is already the factory-fill oil for Chevrolet’s Corvette since 1993, and in 1997, it became the “Official Lubricant of Corvette Racing.”
As part of ExxonMobil’s expanded sponsorship of the National Corvette Museum, the facility now also offers the NCM Delivery Program, where new Corvette buyers can elect at the dealership to take delivery of their new ‘Vette at the National Corvette Museum. Even more alluring is the “Build Your Own Engine” program, where Corvette Z06 buyers can opt to assemble the 650 hp LT4 supercharged V8 engine right next door at the Bowling Green Assembly plant.
Just be sure and exercise caution with that last one; if you forget to install some valve springs, that may not be covered by warranty.
