Chevrolet Donates Silverado Pickups For Alabama Flood Relief Efforts

What crazy weather we’ve had lately in Michigan. Only recently has warm weather graced the Mitten, which considering it’s now May, it took its sweet time getting here. But even though Michiganders like to complain about their weather conditions, they can’t say much when it comes to the tornadoes and storms that struck Alabama, which has lead to flooding of the Mississippi River, devastation and the deaths of hundreds of people. Such  tragedies tend to require calls to action from more fortunate parties all over the country, and General Motors is doing just that through Chevrolet.

The Bow Tie has donated twelve Silverado pickup trucks to United Ways in Alabama to fortify the efforts of distributing much needed goods all over the state. On top of that, the General Motors Foundation has gone out to donate another $100,000 for relief efforts.

Let’s see what senator Richard Shelby says about GM now…
