The 2019 Cadillac XT4 is expected to be powered by two engines:
- A turbo-charged four-cylinder engine as standard, and
- A turbo-charged six-cylinder engine as an option in a potential XT4 V-Sport variant
A plug-in hybrid variant that has an all-electric range and then uses an onboard engine generator is possible.
Both engines are expected to be mated to the GM 9-speed automatic transmission driving either the front or all wheels.
