The GM Authority Take
Chevrolet Korea sales are continuing to fall, with a decrease in four of the first six months of 2019. The Bow Tie brand only recorded sales growth in the market during the months of March and April, when it appeared that sales were recovering after the particularly negative performance throughout 2018.
Only the Malibu the Trax saw an increase in deliveries, both in June and during the first six months of the year. And though Equinox figures show an impressive increase during the first half the year, that circumstance is the result of the vehicle having only gone on sale in June 2018, during which time it recorded all of its 385 deliveries. Hence, Equinox sales during the first half of 2018 totaled 385 units, all recorded in June, resulting in a notable jump in year-over-year sales volume.

Comments
GM should get out of Korea and make the new Trailblazer, Encore GX here is the States. Why should we invest in manufacturing in a country that doesn’t buy the product?
And Americans are buying Korean cars by the hundreds of thousands. 5700 units is nothing.
What does that say about Koreans and Americans?
It’s because GM make average cars and nobody outside of the US is interested in buying them…
