Read More »In August 2024, a GMC Sierra EV lease is available in local markets on the 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1. No other incentives are offered on the all-electric full-size pickup truck.
Notably, the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 does not qualify for the $7,500 U.S. EV tax credit because the MSRP for this particular trim level exceeds the $80,000 maximum set by the Clean Vehicle Credit rules.
GMC Sierra EV lease offers in August 2024 are as follows:
The above GMC Sierra EV lease offers are valid through September 3rd, 2024.
For reference, here are the 2024 GMC Sierra EV trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including a $1,995 destination freight charge (DFC):
Over a year ago, GM debuted the first-ever 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali. The only variant built for the 2024 model year will be the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1.
The cabin is dominated by a 16.8-inch diagonal infotainment screen, the largest screen ever fitted to a production GMC Sierra model. The new EV pickup also includes trailering-capable GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assistance technology, as well as Regen On Demand Braking, One-Pedal Driving, and 4-Wheel Steer with CrabWalk. The onboard Air Ride Adaptive Suspension can raise or lower the truck by roughly 2 inches.
Additionally, interior appointment includes high-end materials like open-pore wood, aluminum, and etched stainless steel. Up top is a panoramic fixed glass roof.
It incorporates the GMC MultiPro Midgate, an eTrunk, and a max towing capacity of up to 9,500 pounds.
The truck offers Power Station Pro, which provides bidirectional charging and upwards of 10.2 kW of power. The batteries can be charged back via 800-volt DC Public Fast Charging capabilities up to 350 kW, providing 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
Similar to the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and SUV, the new 2024 Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 is based on the GM BT1 platform, with GM Ultium battery tech and GM Ultium drive motor tech for motivation. Output is applied through the onboard e4WD system, peaking at 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque in Max Power mode, enabling the truck to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds. The maximum range per charge is estimated at 440 miles.
The 2024 Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 is available in only one color, that being Thunderstorm Gray.
This past April, the 2024 Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 received a lower price and higher range estimate.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2024 Sierra EV.
The 2025 GMC Sierra EV will introduce “regular” Denali, entry-level Elevation, and off-road AT4 trim levels, here shown in Onyx Black.
Along with those new trims, the 2025 model will offer two battery capacities.
Production of the 2025 GMC Sierra EV is currently scheduled for September 3rd.

$8K due at signing and $1K monthly payment for a lease???!! A sucker and his money are easily parted.
History shows that EV's have terrible resale value, so after 36 months gm is figuring it will have lost about 44% or $44,000 in value. OUCH
My guess is that better lease deals are available nationally within a few months. These aren’t flying off lots as expected.
Miami offer. Brilliant, where 80% of condo owners can’t afford their place because of rising HOA fees and taxes. Whoever it is at GM corporate that comes up with this sh$t should be walked to the front door with hat in hand and told, “Don’t come back!”
That’s an attractive lease???
KEEP IT!
Residual values have to be established first.
For now, I’m guessing the same depreciation rate as a 36-month old exercise bike….
