The 2025 Buick Enclave ushers in an all-new third generation of the three-row crossover, boasting fresh styling, an overhauled cabin, a new powertrain and plenty of updated tech. Now, production of the Enclave is scheduled to start a little later than initially planned.
GM Authority has learned that the start of regular production (SORP) for the 2025 Buick Enclave has been pushed back from its previous planned outset of June 17th, 2024. The new-generation Enclave is now scheduled to start rolling down the assembly line at the end of June.
We should note that this date is tentative and subject to change between now and then.
From an exterior design perspective, the 2025 Buick Enclave draws inspiration from the Buick Wildcat EV concept, incorporating an updated grille, front fascia, rear fascia, and new Tri-Shield badging. LED lighting is found front and rear. The exterior dimensions are new as well, with the third-gen model boasting a body that’s slightly longer, wider, and taller than that of the second-generation Enclave.
The revised lineup now includes Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and Avenir trim levels. The new cabin is headlined by a 30-inch ultra-wide LCD screen combining the driver instrument cluster and the infotainment touchscreen, included as standard. Further cabin feature highlights include wireless device charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Bose 12- or 16-speaker audio system and Active Noise Cancellation. A wealth of safety tech is equipped as standard, such as Blind Zone Steering Assist, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure Warning, and more. The 2025 Enclave is also the first Buick to offer Super Cruise, GM’s semi-autonomous driver assist system. Super Cruise is available across the 2025 Enclave lineup.
The outgoing Enclave’s 3.6L V6 LFY engine and nine-speed automatic transmission have been ditched, as the 2025 Buick Enclave is equipped as standard with the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine, rated at 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, matched to the GM eight-speed automatic transmission. A front-wheel drivetrain is standard for the U.S. market, while all-wheel drive is optional.
The all-new 2025 Buick Enclave will be produced at the GM Lansing Delta Township plant in Michigan. The GM C1 platform will once again provide the underpinnings.

what program production hasn’t been delayed recently?
Probably too many unsold ’23s and ’24s on the lots. With too-small discounts. So,…
A quick search would give you your answer. Only 700 2023 for sale on cars dot com and 2400 2024.
End of June is literally a week later.
This isn’t the smoking gun you want it to be.
But you admit it’s a shot in the foot
Beachy it’s probably because of parts supply issues get real man it’s not 1955 anymore. The automotive landscape has moved on and left the older generations in the dust for better or for worse…you can’t fight the powers that be forever! Why don’t you go enjoy your retirement instead of being pissed off all the time you going to have a stroke God forbid!
@ Lostme if you’re afraid of a turbo engine then don’t buy it but please don’t sit here and slander GM a company that’s trying to make a good vehicle in a good engine I would even buy a Toyota or a Hyundai if if it came down to it but I don’t have to I have a choice and I choose to buy a GM vehicle that’s my decision I’m not a fanboy and please don’t call me a fanboy I like all cars Japanese Korean American German I don’t care if they make them on the moon and they call them moon vehicles if I like it I’ll buy it. As far as Reddit goes those people on Reddit they have nothing better to do with their lives than post stuff on Reddit with their problems in their life I’m sorry but I have better things to do with my life than post on Reddit all day well except for GM authority and I’m not on GM authority all day trust me I’m a busy person The only reason why I’m even on here is because I read my Google news on my phone and I see what interests me and I get emails if I comment on something but before you insult somebody think about who your who you’re talking to or should I say typing to you know you don’t know me and I don’t know you so let’s not insult each other anymore thank you and if you really hate GM that much why are you even on a GM it already website spreading BS?
I think that’s the longest single sentence I have ever read!
Sad they are ditching the V6 engine, i won’t buy a vehicle with a turbo.
Why won’t you buy a vehicle with a turbo it’s a better built engine anyway The internals are more robust so it can handle the turbocharged power you know before you comment you should know what you’re talking about okay have a good day! I feel like I’m on Reddit I really do.
If my comments are so hard to read then don’t bother to read them Skip over them there done why don’t you go buy a Hyundai you seem like a Hyundai Kia type of person get off the GM authority website you don’t belong here! As far as my punctuation goes I’m typing on a cell phone I’m sorry if I leave some things out and I’m not the most educated person in the world.
it isn’t 1981 anymore, turbo technology is pretty reliable, not to mention the new 2.5 turbo has more power and torque than the 3.6. It’s not like they’re just sticking you with only the less powerful 2.0 turbo
After the legendary 3800 and competent 3.6, it’s a shame Buick would settle for a naturally rough and buzzy 4 cyl in their flagship vehicle. Turbos won’t help that.
I love these Enclaves (I’ve had 4) Any details on height, width, and length?
Do the Acadia, Traverse and Enclave really share doors? I read it here, but couldn’t really make it out in the photos. Definitely the Equinox and Terrain do.
Just did a bit of a deep dive. The three-row triplets actually do share doors. Big shock.
Will the Enclave 2025 come as an EV? I have own Enclave for many years, and wish to move to an ev
Today is Friday, June 28th, the last working day of the month and no new information on production launch. Two missed starts dates in one month1
So far, I’ve only seen pictures of white and red for the 2025 Enclave. Would like to see the other colors; blue, etc.
What I don’t get is that the Buick Enclave shares its underpinnings with the Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia which are already in production. It seems like it shouldn’t take this long to start production. The only difference is some body panels and maybe slightly different software.
I love the Buick Enclave Advenir, but definitely I would like to get an ev version if it. Is there any hope for 2025?
Mid July, 15th to be exact. As of date, no new production information. Has Buick become a dead badge in the US?
