2024 Cadillac Escalade-V, Escalade-V ESV: Here’s What’s New & Different

The 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V represents the second model year of the high-performance luxury SUV, for which it receives only a few relatively minor yet still noteworthy changes.

On the outside, the 2024 Escalade-V sees only one change – the addition of a new color called Black Diamond Tricoat. This new limited-availability and extra-charge hue joins the following six exterior color options:

  • Crystal White Tricoat
  • Galactic Gray Metallic
  • Dark Emerald Metallic
  • Black Raven
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat
  • Argent Silver Metallic

The exterior also sees the addition of the 20th Anniversary V-Series Package, commemorating two decades of Cadillac V-Series products. Standard on all 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V and Escalade-V ESV units, the package includes a grille header graphic, and an updated interior splash screen logo and puddle lamp logo.

The two remaining changes are to the full-size performance luxury SUV’s tech. First up is Super Cruise, which is now standard as opposed to optional, as it was for the 2023 model year. Second is the inclusion of three years of the OnStar Premium plan as standard. The plan, which was optional for the 2023 model year, is necessary for Super Cruise, and includes the following features:

As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V continues to be offered as a full-size five-door SUV (Escalade-V) and extended-length full-size five-door SUV (Escalade-V ESV). On the powertrain side, the 2024 Escalade-V carries over its powertrain, including the blown V8 LT4 engine from the 2023 model year.

Engine Fuel Aspiration Transmission Drivetrain Power (hp / kW @ RPM) Torque (lb-ft / Nm @ RPM) Axle Ratio
6.2L LT4 V8 Gasoline Supercharged 10-Speed Automatic (MHO) AWD 682 / 509 @ 6000 653 / 885 @ 4499 3.23

It’s worth noting that the Escalade-V is still the most powerful Cadillac model currently in production.

As far as availability goes, the 2024 Escalade-V is set to go into production later this month at the GM Arlington plant in Texas, United States.

Looking ahead, big updates are on the way for the refreshed 2025 Escalade-V and 2025 Escalade-V ESV. We expect the refreshed model to bring a slew of noteworthy updates such as a revised front fascia, a revamped cockpit with a coast-to-coast (pillar-to-pillar) infotainment screen, a new set of wheels with a 24-inch option.

LT5 worth 750+HP/TQ backed by a 100K bumper to bumper warranty

Corsa Cat-back Exhaust and CAI…if anyone has every had Corsa’s exhaust on a GM small block vehicle…its enticing!!!!
