Introducing several changes and updates relative to the 2023 model year, and launching the new hybrid Corvette C8 E-Ray, the 2024 Corvette recently got a $2,100 price increase across all trims and variants, along with a $2,000 price rise to three carbon fiber wheel options.
Now, GM Authority has learned a sharp price hike has also been applied to the Coupe Engine Appearance Package (RPO code B6P) for the 2024 Corvette.
Specifically, the Coupe Engine Appearance Package previously cost $895. Now, its price has increased by $600 to $1,495 for the 2024 Corvette Stingray, Chevy Corvette Z06, and Chevy Corvette E-Ray coupe body style variants alike.
The B6P package is available exclusively on Corvette coupe configurations, while convertibles offer the Convertible Engine Appearance Package (RPO code ZZ3) instead, priced at $995.
The Coupe Engine Appearance Package includes carbon fiber closeout panels on each side of the engine, as well as LED engine compartment illumination.
Many carbon fiber elements on GM vehicles are either under constraint or seeing significant price increases, with rumored supply problems affecting third-party carbon fiber suppliers to GM. Currently under constraint are a pair of carbon fiber aero packages for the 2024 Corvette Z06, including the Carbon Flash-painted carbon fiber package (RPO code T0F) and the visible carbon fiber package (T0G), at 30 percent and 20 percent constraint respectively.
As a result, the Z07 Performance Package (RPO code Z07) is also under constraint. Recent drone photos show hundreds of incomplete Corvette Z06 cars parked on an outdoor lot, apparently awaiting carbon fiber components before they can be completed and delivered.
As a reminder, GM equips each variant of the 2024 Corvette with a unique engine configuration. Motivation is supplied to the 2024 Stingray by the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine developing 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque.
The naturally aspirated 5.5L V8 LT6 gasoline engine powers the Corvette Z06 with its output of 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, while the 2024 E-Ray mixes the LT2 engine and an electric motor on the front axle for 655 horsepower and the nameplate’s first AWD drivetrain.
All C8 Corvette variants are supported by the GM Y2 platform under the body panels. Production takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

We know. Stop milking this news.
CONSTRAINT MOTORS a.k.a. GM IS SURE SHOWING HOW IT SCREW LOYAL CUSTOMERS…a popular in demand vehicle is their way of showing how grateful they are for their customers. AND I thought the UAW’s demands were a bit outrageous.
Incompetence in choosing vendors to supply the required parts..creating a shortage , insert law of supply and demand…and here we are!
LED Engine Illumination – should be standard on ALL Corvettes. Seriously.
And having to add $895, $995, $1495 for this basic important function is absurd.
I purchased the 2 factory LED lights and the 1 harness from GM parts for maybe $150 and installed them myself.
Who does not need under hood lights ?
They look much more awesome and clean than any aftermarket accessory you can get.
ANY FOLLOW UP ON GM PRICE PROTECTING CORVETTE ORDERS PRIOR TO ANNOUNCEMENT OF $2100 PRICE INCREASE? THANKS
