The 2024 Buick Encore GX introduces a mid-cycle refresh for the crossover nameplate, ushering in a wealth of updates and changes. Among these are a new interior, new tech features, the new range-topping Avenir trim level, and new exterior styling. Now, GM Authority is taking a walk around the refreshed 2024 Buick Encore GX in the following exclusive video.
Clocking in at just under five minutes, the video is hosted by GM Authority Executive Editor Alex Luft, who provides a first-person perspective on the crossover’s various exterior updates. This particular trim level is the Sport Touring, or ST, which is also new for the 2024 model-year refresh. The exterior is covered in Moonstone Gray Metallic paint, while the front end draws styling inspiration from the Buick Wildcat EV concept, showing off an attractive two-tier lighting setup with checkmark upper lighting signatures and squarish lighting elements adjacent to the grille. Also seen front and center is Buick’s new Tri-Shield badge.
The gray paint on this ST variant is complemented by glossy black accent pieces that run around the circumference of the crossover, while the 19-inch wheels also show a glossy black finish. The rear end continues the black trim into the rear bumper, where a faux diffuser element and all-new, L-shaped LED taillights enhance the crossover’s visual width.
There’s plenty more to say about the exterior of the refreshed 2024 Buick Encore GX, so hit play for the full walk around video:

I like the new looks of this. The ST in certain colors really looks good.
Sorry, but while “trendy”, Buick’s new front end is a huge step down. Sometimes the Lemming Effect doesn’t do justice. Following others right off a cliff…
