For those who missed it, here’s the rundown on the 2024 Camaro Collector Edition. Intended as a send-off package for sixth-generation of the Bow Tie brand’s iconic muscle car, each unit will feature a unique front fender script and a panther on the steering wheel badge, along with unique floor mats with a laser-etched aluminum Collector Edition logo and unique black interior bits.

As for LT/RS, LT1 and SS trims, each properly equipped Camaro will be painted in the Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint, and include the likes of Satin Black accents stripes, 20-inch Satin Black wheels (or optional Polished Forged Wheels), 1LE front splitter, and a coupe-exclusive ZL1 rear spoiler.

As for the performance-minded ZL1, Collector Edition vehicles will feature the unique Panther Matte Black paint, a Black Metallic ZL1 stripe, red brake calipers, black lug nuts, the ZL1 1LE front splitter, and the coupe-exclusive ZL1 1LE rear wing.

With production of the 2024 Camaro currently scheduled to kick off in August 2023, orders for the final model year of the sixth-generation Camaro will open up June 15th.

  1. A huge jump in price for nothing more than some aesthetic bits, paint and a panther logo? Typical GM. I guess if you plan on living for another 75-80 years, it may be worth something to a collector. There is a sucker born everyday.

  7. Well said Dennis. Change is good in life. Please don’t let the door hit you on the way out! Perhaps it might be time to trade in that 50yr old that doesn’t preform as well as she once did as well! I’m certain there are other younger models out there for you old bankrupt ass to explore.

    1. Not all change is good. Quit spewing that tired old lie.
The amount of mass shootings in America has increased a lot in the past 2 decades. The amount of hate & polarization in society has reached highs not seen since the mid/late 1800s, the world is at the highest risk of nuclear holocaust since the 1950s/1960s.
Those are all changes but go ahead and tell me with a straight face that those changes are *good*

  8. I’m a GM retiree at 78 years old and proudly own my third Camaro, a ZL1 2022 red hot in color. I take it to car shows weekly in my state of Florida and get tons of compliments. I was teased by the Heritage Edition ZL1 offering but the $88K closed the door for me. >

  9. Really sad to see this iconic muscle car drive off into the sunset. Love my 2017 50th Anniversary 2SS, Camaro, white w/ black rag top and rims, adreline red interior. A daily driver that turns heads 9 months out of the year. Only wish GM would take care of the A8 eight speed trans flutter and thrust issues on all impacted vehicles. Why fight a class action lawsuit and not fix the issue and then warranty it? Such a simple remedy. Great customer service equates to customer satisfaction, repeat, and increased sales.

  13. Shades of 1978. GM had the Corvette Indy Pace Car. I remember the intro well. Black and silver paint, red striping, few labels here and there, interior small upgrade with commerative bits and pieces. I recall the NY Times (aka rag print) had an article projecting it’s worth at 75 K. Fools gold. Even on B.A.T., ones with L-82 4spd, original plastic on seats, footwells and steering wheel- and less than a few hundred miles struggle to bring 50K in today’s inflated, worth little dollar. Think what 75K in an FDIC bank account would be worth 45 years later. Stocks ? To the moon. So while Stellantis builds expensive 1000HP cars as a farewell, GM issues some flat black paint, emblems, two posters and a watch. Who wears a watch anymore ? Unless going out on the town.
Any schmoe who goes for the 2024 CE packages is outta touch.

  16. If it was the fastest car GM made next year, easily worth this and more…look how valuable (for two examples) GNXs and the 91/92 Firehawks are now…limited numbers and being the fastest GM car translates into mega-collectible…even though the prices of were staggering for their day. An appearance package doesn’t do anything for me.

    1. Such a nice car. I retired from Oshawa in 2016 so I probably had my hands on your car during production. The 1LE package just elevates it to the next level. I had a 2019 2SS 1LE in red hot. Amazing car to drive. Ordered a 2023 2SS 1LE, 6 speed manual in red hot about 2 months ago. Can’t wait to get it, they’re so friggin’ good!

  22. I grew up in the 60’s/ 70’s and have always wanted a Camaro. Thought about getting a 67 or 8, but ended up with a 2019 gen 6. Glad I did. It’s got 6 speed stick and I added 1le size tires and 4 different chassie braces’ plus the lower lip splitter. I got the very last cold air intake that they made and added that as well. So much fun to drive!

  23. I’ll keep my 2010 Transformer Edition with 700RWHP with 49,500 miles on it. A true classic and stupid fast! no complaints from me. Yes I spent money to get it there but it was still way under 80K
