National inventory for the Chevy Bolt EUV improved going into the month of March, 2023, GM Authority has learned.

According to sources familiar with GM’s go-to-market operations, Chevy Bolt EUV inventory was up to 501 units in stock going in March. A total of 2,263 units were in transit.

Interestingly, February of 2023 was the best February in the history of the Chevy Bolt EUV from a sales standpoint. At present, there are many Chevy Bolt EUV customers who are waiting for orders to be fulfilled, which will hopefully happen soon.

With regard to sales, the Chevy Bolt EUV ranked towards the top of the Mainstream EV Passenger Cars segment for the 2022 calendar year. Total Chevy Bolt EUV sales amounted to 27,091 units for the year, placing the all-electric Bolt EUV in second place with regard to segment sales, while also netting a market share of 18 percent. Meanwhile, the top of the list was occupied by the Mustang Mach-E, which reported 39,458 units sold during the 2022 calendar, netting 26-percent market share. Notably, the Chevy Bolt EV was at the bottom of the list with 11,029 units sold during 2022.

Chevy Bolt EUV sales, as well as sales for the Chevy Bolt EV, are now rebounding following a stop-sale order and recall issued for a battery-related manufacturing defect affecting both models. The defect was linked to several vehicle fires, leading to nearly non-existent volume a year ago.

The Chevy Bolt EUV was first introduced for the 2022 model year, arriving with a greater focus on utility over the slightly smaller Chevy Bolt EV. Like the Bolt EV, the Chevy Bolt EUV features a 65 kWh battery pack and 200-horsepower Voltec drive motor. The GM BEV2 platform provides the bones, while production takes place at the GM Lake Orion plant in Michigan.

  2. qmerit is a joke, all the do is contact a electrician in your area and thats it, all those pics they have you take, they dont even send them to the electrician , they are gettng paid by GM for nothing really and by the way, if you get a charger install in your garage, DO NOT install it with just a plug, unless you want your house to burn down,, get it hard wired in

    1. Love my 2017 Chevy Bolt.. Love my “mainstream” Tesla Y even more.. Strange how the Tesla Y which is less expensive than the Mach E didnt make it to this list as the Y outsells the Mach E at a rate of 20 Ys for every Mach E sold. The reasons the Y outsells the Mach E which is based on the ICE C2 / Escape platform is that the Y is superior in every possible way.. The Y is far more effient , drives and feels like a finely crafted BMW and has a far and away superior technology from FSD to the total driver experience.. Just curious if this article was generated by the white house..who still believes GM is the leader in EVs.. 2022 Teslas sold = 1.4million EVs vs GM& Ford combined for fewer than 110k EVs .. Dont be fooled by the mis-informed media
