Riding that line between luxury SUV and tough off-roader isn’t always easy, but this customized 2022 GMC Yukon XL looks to do exactly that. Now, we’re checking out the following video documenting the new Yukon’s delivery to the happy new customer.
Recently posted online by Dave Sinclair Customs, this 2022 GMC Yukon XL belongs to Kentucky resident Ismar, who drove to St. Louis, Missouri to pick up his new custom SUV. Despite living a state over, Ismar was able to relay his wishes to Dave Sinclair Customs with regard to customizing the new ride.
“Well it definitely looks a lot better in person,” Ismar says. “You can see more of the details in it than you can on pictures and video.”
Outside, the custom 2022 GMC Yukon XL is finished in a stunning shade of paint dubbed Satin Steel Metallic, which is complemented by body-colored badging with a black outline. The front of the vehicle also comes equipped with a black grille, which replaces the chrome-finished grille equipped as standard from the factory.
Further upgrades include black trim bits, once again replacing the factory chrome, while up top is a set of crossbars for added utility. Black Denali badging can be seen in the flanks. The windows were tinted dark black, while the GMC logo up front includes an illumination feature. Finishing it off is a set of black alloy wheels.
“It definitely worked out better than the black one,” Ismar says with regard to the Satin Steel Metallic paint. “This one looks way better than the black.”
“I definitely like the color combination and everything blacked-out. So we got kind of an off-roading and luxury all in one,” he adds.
As a reminder, the 2022 GMC Yukon XL is the extended wheelbase model variant, rolling on a 134.1-inch wheelbase, as compared to the standard Yukon’s 120.9-inch wheelbase.
Under the hood, the 2022 GMC Yukon can be had with one of three engine options, including the atmospheric 5.3L V8 L84, atmospheric 6.2L V8 L87, and 3.0L I6 LM2 turbo-diesel Duramax. Denali trims only offer with the latter two. Under the skin is the GM T1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

Beautiful!!!
Those wheels ruin the look for me on what is an otherwise nice looking vehicle!
LOve The Wheels….Are They Hearts?
So many weirdos here disliking comments because they don’t like the look of the truck. Thank goodness y’all don’t have to drive it, and god lucky y’all are that you didn’t have to pay for it either. Folks have different taste and that’s ok, but there’s something weird about the GMA trolls.
I would like to know how long it took from order to delivery. I have currently had a Yukon Denali XL 2022 (TK 10906-4WD)order way before production even began and today I’m being asked to eliminate certain packages and special order items that had originally been accepted by Nyle Maxwell GMC under order #BQKCV9, in order to accept what’s available.
If a dealership can help please email would love to make this happen ASAP.
