The all-new GMC Hummer EV is offered with Modular Sky Panels for a fun, open-air driving experience. To store those panels, customers can also opt for the optional Sky Panel Storage Set.
The optional Sky Panel Storage Set for the GMC Hummer EV is tagged with RPO code SC8, and is designed to safely and securely store the Modular Sky Panels in the front trunk (eTrunk) of the new all-electric off-roader. The storage set includes lightweight “trays” which are engineered to hold the panels when removed from the body of the truck, and stacked securely in the front trunk, the trays can protect the panels during “dynamic events.”
The optional Sky Panel Storage Set for the GMC Hummer EV is priced at $595. Several other interior cargo management options are also offered, including an All-Weather eTrunk Mat with Logo (RPO code VLI), a Collapsible Cargo Organizer in Black for eTrunk (RPO code SD3), an Underseat Organizer and I-Bar Storage (RPO code VBJ), and a Vertical Cargo Net for e-Trunk (RPO code RXQ).
As GM Authority covered previously, the GMC Hummer EV also features an optional Sky Convertible Top (RPO code SBD), which allows customers to quickly and easily open up the cabin for an open-air driving experience with a manually adjustable roof section.
When it comes to adding some unique exterior upgrades, the GMC Hummer EV options list includes things like Alternate Finish Badges, which are available in three unique colors, including black, red, or Tech Bronze. There’s also a set of accessory D-Ring Recovery Hooks on offer, which can be installed in front and in the rear, and boast a maximum capacity rating up to 15,000 pounds for those customers eager to get their new rig into the rough stuff.
Speaking of which, forward lighting can be supplemented with new the optional Off Road Mounted Pod Lights, which attach to the exterior front pillars and are easily adjustable to illuminate areas in front of the vehicle.
