Last year, wheel manufacturer Forgeline debuted its new F01 flow formed wheels at the SEMA360 online trade show and shared photos of the lightweight alloy wheels installed on both the C8 Chevy Corvette and sixth-generation Chevy Camaro.
Forgeline has now released a video on its YouTube channel showcasing its new F01 wheel installed on a 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1. We think the motorsports-inspired design of the Forgeline F01 wheel looks great on the high-performance Chevy Camaro ZL1, which is one of the most capable track day cars one can buy for under $70,000. In fact, the design of these wheels sort of reminds us of the wheels that come fitted to the Chevy Camaro GT4.R race car, which races in IMSA and SRO sanctioned competition in the United States and Europe.
The Forgeline F01 wheel is available three finishes: Black Ice, Liquid Silver and Anthracite. These wheels are made using a flow forming process in which the wheel is cast at a slightly smaller size and with a thicker material diameter. The wheel is then spun at high speed while pressure and heat are applied to certain sections, helping to form it to the proper fitment. This process improves the strength and rigidity of the wheel and can also reduce the amount of material needed versus a gravity cast wheel, resulting in a lighter finished product.
“Forgeline Flow Formed Series wheels are 100 percent designed and engineered by Forgeline, in our Dayton, Ohio headquarters, and manufactured by our performance and quality proven partner utilizing advanced flow forming techniques and processes reserved for only the highest quality wheels in this category,” Forgeline says of its F01 wheel.

Gross! Got excited as I saw Camaro ZL1. Should have read fully before thinking of hearing something about the 2022 Camaro Zl1.
I like the fact they aren’t all black. The factory ones look better, They just need to have option of polish look and not always black. I have to say i love the colors you can get the camaro in but in white it looks great. I still on the fence on what color to get, hope to order one by the end of the year.
Black wheels are black wheels. Have to be 10′ from car to see what center of wheel looks like. At least they hide brake dust.
Damn: W/those wheels: if i had an extra $80k; I’d buy a ZL1!
Then after taking possession: (of that ZL1) I’d take the drive-train out, modify(hot-rod) it’s gut’s past mechanical Governor 2 what i think the engineers should have done on their drawing-board!!
Wheels are not better ———- just different!
looks ok, couldn’t you find a newer zl1 ? like at least a 2019, which look better.
To every original GM branding name plate: I, myself am still a GM fan of the ARA <1973! My only Fav. camaro of the L8r generations is the 25th anniversary edition Z28! The RECYCLED lines from 1968's on every L8 model car is ugly, NOT fresh!!
