Forgeline debuted its new flow-formed F01 alloy wheels at this year’s SEMA360 online trade show, presenting them on the C8 Chevy Corvette and sixth-generation Chevy Camaro.
The Forgeline F01 is described by the Dayton, Ohio-based company, which specializes in high-end OEM-quality wheels, as a “more-affordable wheel solution,” for its customers. The wheels will initially be available in four different bolt patterns, including for the Chevy Corvette, Chevy Camaro, 997 and 991 Porsche 911 as well as fifth- and sixth-gen Ford Mustang.
The Forgeline F01 will also be available in three finishes from launch: Black Ice, Liquid Silver and Anthracite, although the Porsche-compatible wheels are only offered in Liquid Silver and Anthracite.
“Forgeline Flow Formed Series wheels are 100 percent designed and engineered by Forgeline, in our Dayton, Ohio headquarters, and manufactured by our performance and quality proven partner utilizing advanced flow forming techniques and processes reserved for only the highest quality wheels in this category,” the company said in a statement.
Flow forming is a wheel manufacturing process in which the wheel is cast at a slightly smaller size and thicker material diameter. The wheel is then spun while intense pressure and heat is applied to certain sections, helping to form it to the proper fitment. This process can improve the wheel strength and rigidity and also reduce the amount of material needed versus a gravity cast wheel for a lighter end product.
SEMA organizers liked what they saw from the Forgeline F01, it seems, as the wheel was also chosen as the Best New Product at SEMA360. The online-only SEMA360 show was held last week after the regular in-person SEMA Show was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, giving aftermarket companies like Forgeline a platform to showcase their new products during this stymied year.

I really like the symmetry of the F01 wheels. Especially the silver ones. AF
At first glance I thought they looked alright. But when I kept looking at them I decided that they’re missing that raw, racy look that I like on a performance car. Instead they have soft, gentle curves. I think they are a design that the ladies might like. That’s not necessarily a bad thing since plenty of ladies have performance cars. They’re just not what I like.
Nice looking, but how much?
We delivered one of the C8’s that Forgeline has been using this wheel with, they’ve left us with some samples to display as well. Really nice wheels, have had a couple of my C8 customers order them.
Maybe you know the price then. What is it?
