This Buick Roadmaster Wagon Sits Atop A C6 Corvette Chassis

Lots of project cars start with a Corvette chassis, but this project is one of the more extreme. It’s a Buick Roadmaster wagon that will sit atop a C6 Corvette chassis. And it’s going to be a time attack car. The car community never ceases to amaze us.

BangShift highlighted the build this past Monday, though we don’t know a ton of specifics just yet. The car is far from complete, but some of the most difficult portions look finalized. It’s rather hilarious to see the massive rear tires eating up so much space inside the wagon, but it absolutely works. The C6 Corvette’s chassis gives the old GM B-Body wagon a stance it could only dream about in the 1990s.

The car isn’t in the United States, however, it’s in the United Kingdom. We’ll be watching our British friends closely to see the final product. So far, it looks absolutely awesome.

  1. Not feeling it. Why put stupid weight atop a vette chassis? Try a mg, triumph, tvr, or anything lighter than a station wagon body, geesh….

  2. Nice, but it won’t be holding any 4×8 sheets. I’ll stay with the factory fully boxed frame and 305 in my ’91 Caprice wagon. Until rust do us part.
