Book By Cadillac Does Not Allow International Travel

Book by Cadillac’s introduction aims to redefine luxury car ownership for the brand, but in the process, there are a few stipulations.

One of those is a ban on international travel. After speaking with Cadillac following the announcement of the service, it’s a big no-no to take a Cadillac from the Book service to Canada or Mexico. We’re not entirely sure how members are reprimanded should international travel occur, but we’re also not sure why a New Yorker would travel to Mexico in a Book by Cadillac vehicle. Canada is a little more understandable considering distance.

We also asked about the possibility of taking a vehicle from the service to a race course. As of now, Cadillac has not provided a clear answer on whether or not that’s an okay thing to do. After all, the 2017 Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V are both included in the service, and we’d imagine track time would be on the minds of many.

Book by Cadillac offers all Cadillac Platinum and V models for a flat fee of $1,500 per month with no mileage limit but is currently only available in New York City’s boroughs.
