Chevrolet Thailand recently opened the doors to a relocated and redesigned office at Rasa Tower II in Bangkok for all (read: the media) to see. Designed around the theme of a “Journey Forward,” the office was built to inspire brand confidence with creative visuals that start at the elevators and spread throughout the workspace, celebrating past and present GM product icons as well as Thai cultural heritage.
“Our new office represents a fresh start for Chevrolet in Thailand. It is a more inspiring environment with few closed offices, allowing team members to interact collaboratively on matters ranging from customer service to dealership development and product marketing,” said Marcos Purty, Managing Director, GM Thailand and Chevrolet Sales Thailand. “The office design is consistent with the design of GM International’s office in Singapore. This reinforces our commitment to become a more customer-focused and operationally efficient company by implementing changes to increase customer satisfaction and our competitiveness, and put us in a better position to achieve future growth.”
A commendable characteristic of this office space is its eco-friendliness; floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural light to shine through, green-certified carpet and vinyl flooring, and energy-efficient LED lighting. The efficiency is compounded by the ergonomic workstations and dedicated lockers to help implement the employee clean desk policy. To bring a sense of fun into the environment, the walls are decorated with inspirational images from past and present that juxtapose GM and Chevrolet products with Thai landmarks such as Democracy Monument.
“By making a strong visual connection between our company and brand’s heritage and our Thai cultural heritage, we will cultivate a collective sense of pride in the work we are doing here to provide the best possible products and experiences for our customers,” said Una Tan, Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, Chevrolet Sales Thailand. “This is an exciting time to work at GM and Chevrolet in Thailand, and now we have an office that truly reinforces that feeling of being on a journey forward.”
