If you ask us, almost any video featuring the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V stretching its legs around the track is a video worth watching, and this video review of the CTS-V at Road America is no exception.
Commentary is provided to you by Mike Spinelli, and his goal is to find out how the new CTS-V stacks up against it’s predecessor. The easy answer is “of course,” and as Mike puts it, “the last CTS-V compared to this was such a crude instrument.” He praises Cadillac for their brilliant engineering, stating that the stiffness of the reinforced chassis allows him to climb to 150+ mph with confidence – helping verify that the Alpha platform and LT4 powertrain are a near-perfect pair.
We must say, it’s hard to get over the fact that the new Cadillac CTS-V allows you to record live data and video via the Performance Data Recorder, meaning no wires all over the place – talk about convenience.
So, enjoy the video, and as always we encourage you to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
