Old versus new. It’s a debate we could have over nearly anything consumers purchase. Is something better just because it’s shiny and new? Or, does something older perfect a certain recipe?
Hands down, the 2015 C7 Corvette Stingray bests the C6 Corvette in nearly every way. Power, fit and finish and fresh, sleek styling to boot. But, the tides change when the aftermarket gets involved.
In a modern-day new vs. old ordeal, we have a 1,070 hp C6 Corvette build challenging a Procharged 850 hp C7 Corvette Stingray to a battle on the streets of “Mexico.”
The roll takes place from 60 mph, and the two machines duke it out up to speeds nearing 200 mph and, we’ll say it now, it’s a close one for a while before a victor is crowned. But we won’t spoil the results for you, since the quick video is definitely worth the watch.
Wagers in and place your bets, it’s C6 versus C7. Enjoy.
