Cadillac fans in the Middle East will soon be able to get their hands on the most powerful product the brand has ever offered, as the region will soon receive the mighty 640 hp 2016 Cadillac CTS-V, as well its baby bro, the 464 hp 2016 Cadillac ATS-V.
The order books are officially open and eager customers can now put their names down in order to secure Cadillac’s quickest vehicle.
GM Middle East says the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V coupe and sedan will hit the market in November, while fans of Cadillac’s third-generation four-door– which packs the same 6.2L supercharged V8 small-block LT4 seen in the Corvette Z06– will follow soon after.
The A-before-C launch strategy is similar to what Cadillac has planned for North America, as the ATS-V is set to arrive in summer with the CTS-V planned to follow soon after.
Customers in the Middle East will have to scratch together at least MSRP $86,300 to call a CTS-V their own but, as the price doesn’t include import taxes or Value Added Tax (VAT), they’d be wise to prepare to part with more.
“With the launch of the last generation CTS-V in 2009, Cadillac entered an exclusive and elite segment of performance sedans, without any compromise on comfort,” said Felix Weller, Cadillac Middle East Sales and Marketing Director. “The all new CTS-V is the first car to combine sophisticated road manners expected in this segment with track-readiness as a factory setting, while setting a benchmark for power in its class. The 2016 CTS-V is simply awe-inspiring.”
