1977 C3 Corvette Stolen In Maryland

Let’s bring this one home, because it’s sickening to see one go missing. A family 1977 C3 Corvette has been stolen from a private garage in York County, Maryland.

The 1977 Corvette has been a family possession, and currently rests in the hands of Charles Estelle. The car has been in his life since the age of seven. When he was a teen, his father handed him the keys after it quit running stating, “if you can fix it, it’s yours.” The orange 1977 Corvette was two months away from running and was in the process of being restored.

The 1977 Corvette was stolen while Estelle was out of town, and a neighbor reports a flatbed taking the Corvette on a late model pickup truck.

Bollinger says only a few people knew he was going out of town and he has his suspicions about who might have taken the Corvette.

“It seems very suspicious that it just happened to go missing,” Bollinger said. “It needs to be found.”

Local police say they are tracking down leads on the stolen Corvette, but did not provide any concrete information currently, according to Corvette Blogger. It’s hard to miss a bright orange Corvette, so hopes are high the vehicle hasn’t gotten far.

We wish Estelle best of luck, and hopefully the car comes back into his life so he can finish what he is able to finish what he had planned for the Corvette.
