As hard as they may try, sometimes an automaker can’t help but have their new products leak online. Many different people have to be involved in developing an all-new model, and unfortunately, not all of them have the well-being of the company in mind.
One mold worker involved with the upcoming sixth-generation Camaro had few qualms about leaking GM’s secrets. According to a Camaro6 forum member, a Facebook user posted the image of what is said to be the form die for the next Camaro and promptly deleted it, but everyone knows it’s impossible to delete things from the internet.
Now the image is floating around forums and message boards, giving us car enthusiasts an early look at what the side profile of the next-gen Camaro may look like. It appears to be the real deal, as all the bodylines seen on the die line up with spy shots we’ve seen of the car and our brightened-up teaser image we shared last month.
Based on the pre-production photos of the car we’ve seen, the next Camaro will have an evolutionary design with less sharp bodylines and what we would call a more grown-up look. This photo supports that sentiment, so check it out here, and let us know what you think in the comments.

It appears that the fuel filler door has been moved from the passenger-side to the drivers-side. I am elated over that. it took awhile for me to get used to having it on the passenger-side.

Looks almost the same with a design which offers poor visibility. Unfortunate to see GM took the safe route instead of forging new grounds with a thoroughly modern Camaro.
Ford did the same with the new Mustang.
