In the market for a new race weekend hauler? Don’t bother searching; we’ve found it for you.
This GMC Kodiak C5500 comes with a customized 2 car trailer, at a length of 48 feet, for $139,950. The rig was custom-built by Monroe, and the truck and trailer “were made for each other,” according to the seller.
Both the truck and the trailer are 2007 models. The 2007 Kodiak C5500 truck has 4WD, a 6.6 liter Duramax diesel powerplant, and air-ride suspension. It also features some added creature comforts to enable you to make long journeys with ease, including a rear sofa bed seat and a TV with DVD player.
The trailer, meanwhile, has about 40 feet of usable floor space, and comes equipped with a gas generator, 2 roof furnace/air-conditioning units, microwave, coffeemaker, and an extra long ramp to accommodate low-slung race cars.
Best of all, this Monroe-built rig only has 7,000 miles on the odometer. The seller swears that’s accurate.
So if you must hit the road for a long haul with your racing team, and want to do so in cool comfort before the hot, stressful discomfort of the race course, consider this rig to transport your cars and your drivers to the big race.

Nice rig, but since the Kodiak is no longer built I would replace the truck with a Freightliner FL60.
Whatever happened to GM’s return to medium duty? Guess those plans were abandoned.
