In what appears to be a video made specifically for enthusiasts (rather than an actual commercial), Opel took an Astra OPC to an empty hangar with a whole bunch of mirrors, and let the compact performance hatch do some exhilarating driving. The resulting video is filled with a plethora of glamourous slow-motion shots of the car and some reflection action. Thank you, Opel!

After reflecting I love this spot.
This is one though that has to have the right car. The OPC Astra as the lines and looks to pull this one off. It is an interesting car to look at body line wise and this spot focuses on this. I love it more that not a word is spoken.

I just wish they would get this thing here with 280 HP and at a Buick dealer near me. You want to change the image of Buick to the younger buyers you have the solution here on 4 wheels.

That is one bad ass little car! GM desperately needs to have a VW GTI type vehicle in it’s US lineup. If they really want to change Buick’s demographic situation and bring in Gen X and Y shoppers and even the tuner crowd, this car would do it.
This was shown so long ago… plus this car could not win a head to head against ford focus and other hot hatches in Europe.
Given that the video had less than 1,000 views when we published the article, I’d say that the video’s age (of 2 months) isn’t as relevant as its content, or the fact that so few eyeballs viewed it.
24 hours after our article, the clip now has over 1,300 views on YouTube.

If one looks closely, the hall is not “full of mirrors”.
The appears only one large mirror on one side, the rest is a perfect choreography of the car movements, and skillful camera work.
A brilliant video, it speaks out loud without any word actually spoken in it.
