Accident Watch: Corvette ZR1 Crashes During Michigan Mile

The Michigan Mile event took place this past weekend in Battle Creek, MI. And like the more well-known Texas Mile, it’s a long drag racing event down a runway that allows cars to travel at insane speeds. We’re sure this Corvette ZR1 was doing just that before wrecking after the driver decided to attempt a celebratory burnout.

Yes, another Corvette fail moment to add to the mounting list of other Corvette fails. According to a report by Jalopnik, this is how it went down:

It wasn’t donuts at all. He finished his lap, came around to do a burn out for the crowd and due to the lower quality pavement on the taxi way he power shifted, lost control and struck a vehicle. Everyone is okay and racing is a go.
