Keeping in mind that the wrap protects the original finish, would you do this to your Vette? Or would you rather drive a matte-pink Caddy ATS?

Looks sweet.
For the price of the paint job,I’d rather put it towards some performance upgrades. But it’s not bad,I can say I wouldn’t do my C6 Z06 like that.
This would only cost about $50-$100 to “wrap” the car in Plasti-Dip. It sure does look terrible, I’d never do this to any car, especially my Centennial Z06.
Eh….. Matte does not look good on a lot of cars. I think what seems to spoil it is other shiny objects, like windows. The Vettes have a lot of glass and the headlights are pretty shiny too. Eh….. Maybe.
That matte black seems to be everywhere now. Old hot rods, old trucks, seems to me it makes the vette look cheap. At least the wrap can come off.
Matte – never. Let’s see the Vette’s great paint jobs and please, GM, add and bring back great metallics such as the dark red C4 metallic. Vette has a limited number of colors available. and for such a great car, that’s unfotunate.
