This commercial for the Chevy Confidence program, also known as Love it or Return it Guarantee, states that “great companies, companies that make great things, stand by them.” And if “something’s wrong, you can bring those things back” — a rare promise among automakers… until now. So “if you buy a brand new Chevy and aren’t completely happy with it, bring it back. It’s that simple.”
How can Chevy make this promise? Because it’s making the most advanced, highest-quality new vehicles in its history. “And it’s got us feeling pretty good about the chances you’ll love yours.” The spot ends with a reference to The Bow Tie brand’s 100-year history by saying, “From a proud tradition to a new confidence about today, Chevy Runs Deep.”
The GM Authority Take
Well-done, Chevy. Well-done.

This is not a new program, GM had this going on about 2-3 years ago. Some buyers thought they could simply return the car for a refund, not so. The car must be in absolutely “Showroom” new perfect, flawless condition, which is nearly impossible. Also if you think your state is going to give you a tax refund, think again. If you think your dealer is going to give a refund on any title or Doc fees (pure rip-off profit), think again. If you have a trade-in, think again. The previous GM program offered an additional few hundred dollar “rebate” as a way out at the time of delivery. Almost every buyer took the money when the actual GM rules where read an understood (the buyer has to sign it). Also the program is very clear, no fleet or company registered purchases. Only retail deliveries. This program simply pushes potential buyers to the showroom. The program really has no merit. Make your best deal, go to at least 3 dealerships and get a bid for your business, get all the rebates plus the extra few hundred dollars, and enjoy the real advantage….a 5year,100,000 miles warranty! If your local dealer doesn’t give you ALL the incentives PLUS discounts, leave.
I can’t see this connecting with HonToysan owners. They know those brands are reliable. We need Chevy to to prove that to.
How about a 100 day 100,000 miles drive around the USA? Cheaper that the ATS ads!
