General Motors has now officially announced that it will invest $331 million into its Arlington, Texas assembly plant to prepare for the next generation line of full-sized SUVs such as the Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade. The $331 million commitment is significantly larger than the previously expected $240 million investment from earlier this week. The major investment will bring in 110 jobs as well.
