As part of the renewal of Chevrolet‘s image and model portfolio in the country, General Motors officially launched the updated 2025 Chevy Colorado in Colombia.
The automaker launched the updated 2025 Chevy Colorado in the Colombian domestic market to close out the 2024 calendar year with an updated pickup lineup, ranging from the compact-sized Chevy Montana to the flagship full-size Chevy Silverado. The 2025 Colorado represents the most in-depth and significant update to the midsize truck so far, first introduced to the Colombian market in 2017 and refreshed in late 2020.
“The return of the Chevrolet Colorado marks a turning point in the Colombian market. This model is designed to challenge the limits of what a pickup can offer: brutal capacity for demanding work and a good driving experience in any environment,” said Product Manager for GM Colombia, Carlos González. “The Colorado is not just a tool, it is a reliable ally for those seeking power, versatility and the confidence to conquer any challenge,” he added.
In particular, the updated 2025 Chevy Colorado was launched in Colombia with a full lineup comprised of multiple Crew Cab body variants in Work Truck, Z71, LTZ, and High Country trim levels. The Work Truck versions are available exclusively to commercial and fleet customers in various powertrain configurations, while the other trims are aimed at the general public.
All 2025 Chevy Colorado units in Colombia are equipped as standard with the Duramax turbodiesel 2.8L I4 XLD28 engine that develops 207 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque, which can be coupled to a six-speed manual transmission in the Work Truck or to an eight-speed automatic transmission available across the range. In addition, they include a complete set of standard technology and safety features that represents a benchmark within their segment.
The updated 2025 Chevy Colorado is now available for sale throughout Chevrolet’s official dealer network in Colombia, where units of the midsize truck continue to arrive imported from the GM São José dos Campos plant in Brazil. It is offered with a range of 107 accessories and is backed by a five-year or 100,000 km (62,137 miles) warranty, with a starting price of 182,490,000 pesos – about $42,250 USD at the current exchange rate.
