The 2014 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL are the last model year for the third-generation Yukon, ahead of the arrival of the completely re-engineered and re-designed fourth-generation 2015 Yukon. For the 2014 model year, the Yukon and larger Yukon XL receive a few small changes, the most notable of which is the discontinuation of the hybrid model and the increase in standard equipment over 2013 models.
Highlights
For the last model year of the third-generation model, GMC has made a few small changes to the 2014 Yukon that mirror those of the 2014 Tahoe and 2014 Suburban.
Two colors will no longer be available (Carbon Black Metallic and Dark Blue Metallic) and the convenience package is discontinued.
The discontinuation of the convenience package results in a significant amount of content becoming standard equipment on the base GMC Yukon SLE model, including: remote vehicle start, inside rearview auto-dimming mirror with rear-view camera, power-adjustable pedals, rear park assist, and rear view camera.
