- What: an all-new Chevrolet Silverado full-size pickup truck that will represent the fourth generation of the nameplate
- When: we expect the next Silverado to launch in late 2018 or early 2019 calendar year as a 2019 model year vehicle
- Why: an all-new Silverado will enable Chevrolet to be more competitive in the crucial full-size pickup truck space, which is highly lucrative for Chevrolet parent firm General Motors and brings in a significant amount of revenue towards GM’s bottom line
