2019 Chevrolet Tahoe Changes, Updates, New Features

The 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe gets several updates and changes. The 2019 model year represents the fifth model year of the fourth-generation Tahoe in the United States market.

2019 Tahoe Retail & Fleet Changes, Updates, New Features

  • Exterior:
    • Deletion of two exterior colors:
      • Havana Metallic (deleted mid-2018 model year)
      • Tungsten Metallic
    • Addition of new exterior color:
      • Shadow Gray Metallic
    • New design for Premier badge on tailgate
  • Packages:
    • RST Edition is now available with the following exterior colors:
      • Silver Ice Metallic
      • Summit White
      • Black
      • Shadow Gray Metallic
      • For the 2018 model year, the RST Edition was available in conjunction with the following colors:
        • Silver Ice Metallic
        • Summit White
        • Black
        • Tungsten Metallic.
    • The LPO-level (dealer-installed) rear fascia closeout feature is now available with the following exterior colors:
      • Silver Ice Metallic
      • Summit White
      • Black
      • Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
      • Shadow Gray Metallic
      • For the 2018 model year, the feature was available in conjunction with the following colors:
        • Silver Ice Metallic
        • Summit White
        • Black
        • Iridescent Pearl Tricoat

2019 Tahoe PPV & SSV Changes, Updates, New Features

  • Exterior:
    • Deletion of two exterior colors:
      • Havana Metallic (deleted mid-2018 model year)
      • Tungsten Metallic
    • Addition of new exterior color:
      • Shadow Gray Metallic
  • Packages:
    • The LPO-level (dealer-installed) rear fascia closeout feature is now available with the following exterior colors:
      • Silver Ice Metallic
      • Summit White
      • Black
      • Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
      • Shadow Gray Metallic
    • For the 2018 model year, the feature was available in conjunction with the following colors:
      • Silver Ice Metallic
      • Summit White
      • Black
      • Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
    • Radio Suppression Package is now available as a free-flow option on both the PPV and SSV equipment groups
      • For the 2018 model year, it was included with the 9C1 PPV identifier and 5W4 Special Service Vehicle (SSV) identifier

    • (GAN) Silver Ice Metallic
    • (GAZ) Summit White
    • (GBA) Black
    • New (GJI) Shadow Gray Metallic (replaces [GXG] Tungsten Metallic)
  • (VLG) Rear fascia closeout, LPO is now available with:
    • (GAN) Silver Ice Metallic
    • (GAZ) Summit White
    • (GBA) Black
    • (G1W) Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
    • New (GJI) Shadow Gray Metallic

  • (UN9) Radio Suppression Package is now available as a free-flow on both equipment groups (was included with [9C1] PPV identifier and [5W4] Special Service Vehicle identifier in 2018MY)
