The 2018 Chevrolet Bolt EV is getting the following changes and updates:
- Replacement of the heated steering wheel with the automatic heated steering wheel as a standalone option and on the Comfort & Convenience Package
- Deletion of front passenger seatback map pocket as standard equipment on 2LT trim level
- Introduction of a rear seat delete package later on in the model year (March 2018)
The updates and changes described here are specific to the U.S. market and may be different for other markets.
Following are GM’s official RPO-level changes and updates for the 2018 Chevrolet Bolt EV:
New Features
- (K1T) Rear Seat Delete Package, incuding:
- Rear seat delete (ATZ)
- Modified airbag system (AYG), including:
- Driver and front passenger dual-stage frontal airbags, includes Passenger Sensing System
- Head-curtain side-impact and thorax side-impact seat-mounted for front outboard seating positions
- Driver and front passenger knee airbags
- Tire inflation kit (KTI)
- 16″ steel wheels (PWM)
- 205/55R16 all-season blackwall tires (Q1N)
- Incomplete vehicle designation (VXT)
Deletions
- (UVD) Heated steering wheel
Changes
- (WPU) Comfort and Convenience Package now includes (KI3) automatic heated steering wheel (replaces [UVD] heated steering wheel)
- Heated steering wheel RPO changed to (KI3) from (UVD); automatically turns on when selectable automatic activation enabled
- (E91) Front passenger seatback map pocket is no longer standard on 2LT
