Although many eyes are on the 2016 Opel Astra, which made its official debut only a few months ago, Opel has quietly updated the Corsa with the latest IntelliLink system and a new exterior color.
The Opel Corsa is now available with the newest-generation IntelliLink infotainment system, R4.0 IntelliLink, and has also added Mandarin Orange to exterior color palette.
The latest IntelliLink expands options for Apple and Android users with CarPlay and Android Auto capability, which are displayed seamlessly on the seven-inch touchscreen. And, to boot, the Opel Corsa is now ready to roll with Opel OnStar, and can become a WiFi hotspot whenever necessary for even greater connectivity.
“We do not just offer drivers of middle class or compact class cars the opportunity of enjoying ultra-modern connectivity and infotainment technology. We will make it available across our entire product portfolio at very attractive prices,” said Peter Christian Küspert, Vice President Sales & Aftersales Opel Group. “The new R4.0 IntelliLink system with smartphone integration available for the Corsa is the perfect example. This system along with Opel OnStar enables fast, stable and extensive internet access for every Corsa occupant.”
The IntelliLink upgrade is available for €350, while Opel OnStar may be added for €490 to the Opel Corsa. Keep in mind, OnStar is standard with the Innovation and OPC trims, however.
