“Over the last year we have seen the Cadillac brand transform and grow in the Middle East under Felix’s stewardship. For instance, we have recently posted the highest October sales in our history, which also adds to our 21% year to date growth,” said Mario A. Spangenberg, President and Managing Director of GM Africa & Middle East.

Weller previously held the role of Vehicle Sales and Service Management Director for Cadillac Middle East. In his new role of Managing Director, he will be responsible for all aspects of Cadillac business in the Middle East, including sales, network development, fleet, and management of Cadillac’s certified pre-owned vehicle program. He will also oversee the region’s marketing activities retail advertising, digital and social media, as well as product marketing.

“With Cadillac continuing to grow at such a strong rate globally and in the Middle East, it’s critical that we have the right leaders and structure in place to support this. Felix’s appointment to Managing Director supports our strategy to bring greater focus to the brand and its operations in the Middle East,” said Spangenberg.

Weller joined Cadillac in 2014. Prior to that, he worked extensively with Audi, including serving as sales director for the Middle East for three years. He started his career with Mercedes-Benz in Germany.

  2. Who comes up with these job titles !? That’s why it takes GM so long to try to change it’s culture , there are to many layers of management . While GM’s blue collar work force has shrunk over the years it’s time to eliminate some of the layers of management . How do you get loyalty to a company when you jump from one automaker to the next .
