1969 Chevrolet Corvette Wagon Fab Is Arguably An Improvement: Craigslist Find

The English language doesn’t have a word for what this 1969 Chevrolet Corvette wagon on Craigslist made us feel. That’s right, a Corvette wagon. At first we didn’t know if we wanted to laugh, cry, cheer, or vomit. It was a combination of shock and awe, though we ultimately warmed up to the images of the C3 Corvette wagon. Because wagon.

At $11,000, we think the ’69 Corvette with 52,400 miles fairs on the expensive side, for what it is. We don’t know too much about it, we don’t even know how well it runs. All we know is that someone took the time to modify the backside, and we understand, many of you probably wish they hadn’t. We’ll admit that it looks a bit like a hearse, but on the flip-side it’s perfect for someone who wants to daily a C3 and needs more room for their golf clubs, guns, groceries, and/or grain sacks.

Just based on the photos, this Corvette wagon could use a little TLC, though, as the passenger side quarter-panel is missing a pretty big chunk. But, on the plus side, it’s got a built-in phone – cool, right?

So what are your thoughts? Is this Corvette unique, different, and cool? Or is it a hideous monstrosity that should have never been birthed?

  1. I think I’d have to dig up my Motor Trends/C&D’s from the early 90’s, but I am pretty sure that this was a widely available aftermarket kit; wherever I’ve seen it, I’ve seen a lot of them, and they’re well done, and the lines of the car aren’t that bad, nor does it look tacked on.
