Cadillac has reduced the available incentives on the 2015 CTS Sedan in the United States for the month of July.
The June incentives included $4,000 off a purchase or $3,000 off a lease of a 2015 CTS Sedan for existing Cadillac owners and lessees. In addition, there was also a 0 percent APR for 60 months financing offer.
By comparison, the July incentive has been scaled back to $1,500 toward the lease or purchase of a 2015 CTS Sedan, also for existing Cadillac owners and lessees. The 0 percent APR financing for 60 months is still around, however. The offers do not apply to the all-new 2016 CTS-V model.
Purchase Type | June 2015 Incentive | July 2015 Incentive |
---|---|---|
Finance | $4,000 discount | $1,500 discount |

Sales of the CTS line dipped 29.3 percent year-over-year to 1,535 units in June 2015, with year-to-date sales down 39.4 percent to 9,689 units.

I want to buy the V-sport, but cadillac new emblem made the car looks if it was imported from china.
… said the dumbest buyer, ever.
But seriously: if it’s such a big problem for you, you should know you can just buy the 2014 grille. It’s a plug-and-play deal. Then sell your 2015 on eBay and come out even. But personally, I would never trade the new badge for the old one.
I’m actually amazed at how engaging the 2015 (?) logo is. The smaller shield in a circle spoke almost of embarrassment. “Yes,” the car mumbles, “I guess I’m a Cadillac.”
The new bigger bolder emblem exhibits pride. If the manufacturer doesn’t show pride in product, how can the buyer feel proud in buying one?
In the first episode of Star Trek Next Generation, Jean Luc Picard realizes he and his ship might soon be toast. And so he says, “If we are to be damned, let us damned for what we really are.”
The Enterprise crew survived for seven more seasons. I’ve got a feeling Cadillac is going to surprise every one.
(But I still think the wording of ‘Dare Greatly’ is turd city.)
Cutting the incentive on a model that’s down about 30% – that should really help move them off the lots.
I know they want to be premium, but this is like a losing team raising ticket prices.
Expect $10,000 off by September/October to clear off old inventory.
They could instead throw in a Chevy Spark with each purchase?
Ill be in line to get one then, Im not in a rush no need to pay full price, I feel like cars of this size are over priced anyways 45k for a base model my a** ill be in a premium with the digital changing display and panoramic roof for 35k.. until thats the offer imma just sit n watch aaaaaaand 0% 60 months.. all or nothin
Hmmm, I notice the Escalade doesn’t have any incentives.
Maybe if Cadillac’s cars were more blatantly ‘American Luxury’ in their execution and flavor, like the Escalade, they wouldn’t need incentives, nor sell so poorly. But I digress.

It’s sad it takes a damn truck for Cadillac to hang with and beat the world best. Notice, no where in the comparison is the Escalade derided for not being more foreign. It’s flashy, American, and and proud of it. With old school attention to detail and design that USED to be common in Cadillac’s heyday.
I’ve said it before, Cadillac would not have such a problem moving it’s cars if they weren’t sharp-edged, Mercedes/BMW aping wanna-be’s.
The Elmiraj, Ciel and Sixteen are THE proper Cadillacs that the world and US buyers want and expect from Cadillac in design, execution, and presence. But currently Only the Truck side of Cadillac seems to understand this. Fortunately Escalades are moving off the lots in large enough numbers and with high enough stickers to keep Cadillac viable – Even with the floundering Cadillac is experiencing on the CAR front.
The only reason the discount dropped to $1500.00 dollars is because the inventory of unsold units has dropped to a level low enough that the huge rebates aren’t needed and Cadillac wants to make at least a little profit of whats left of the 2015 year models . The assembly plant has been running on one shift and at a reduced build rate , which has helped reduce inventory . Wait till ‘the 2016’s enter the market , there is no noticable change and they wont be over building them ……. higher prices versus a higher sales rate . Thats where Cadillac is headed .
Not so fast fellows. I’ve checked CTS inventory in Ohio and western PA (on Cadillac website) and every 2015 CTS has $2,000 cash allowance at the bottom of the sticker!
This makes a lot of sense since they have enough of these vehicles in stock to go well into the 2016 model year!
