If you’re hungry for more power out of your C7 Corvette Z06, ProCharger just might have a solution for you.
Though the components are still in their testing phase, the results seem very promising. The swap consists of a centrifugal supercharger and an air-to-air intercooler at the very least, and for convenience it doesn’t require additional brackets. The system was designed so that the head unit (of the ProCharger) could be easily upgraded to a larger head unit, the largest being the F-2 for a maximum power output of 1,600 (!) horsepower.
In theory, that would put a ProCharged Z06 in a higher output territory than the packages offered up by either Hennessey Performance Engineering or Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. But here, that’s not what’s being tested.
According to testing results, the P-1SC-1 supercharger along with the intercooler showed an increase of 115 horsepower at factory boost level, ignition timing, and fueling. That’s still quite the gain. The swap also lowers the occurrence of heat soak, that is, elevated engine temperatures during wide-open throttle. This is crucial to those who intend to track their new Chevrolet Corvettes, or for those who may, “frequently run them aggressively.”

Thank Goodness! FINALLY a tuner that gets it! Yes more horsepower is awesome but ultimately NOT the end all be all of boosting performance! I’ve been waiting for a package that boost the capacity of the engine while maintaining factory level boost! Therefore I can run it harder & LONGER when the time calls for it! Idk why the hell GM didn’t do this from the jump but I’m glad some finally did! 115+HP over stock is more than enough for ANYONE! ESPECIALLY when stock is 650HP
