GM Recall Crisis Doesn’t Seem To Be Affecting Sales, According To Reports

Despite the unveiling of the 2015 Corvette Z06 and Chevrolet Trax for the U.S. market, General Motors-related news continues to primarily revolve around the ever-ongoing, ever-revealing ignition switch recall crisis.

Yet despite all the news, GM’s March sales figures appear to be operating as if nothing is happening

Cadillac’s marketing chief Uwe Ellinghaus was quite adamant on this, in a Detroit News report.

“So far, we have not seen any decline in our Cadillac business due to the negative news about the recall,” Ellinghaus said. “People distinguish between brands and the corporations behind the brands. Therefore, I’m not surprised, speaking from Cadillac, that we didn’t see this.”

  1. I really do not expect the recall to have much bearing as it is on cars that have been out of production for years and most of the people who own them have never had the issue.

Now if this had been the Trucks. Cuze and Malibu it would have been a different story.

    1. The haters are on the web as they have no other voice.

No matter what GM does they will hate and continue to try to find fault legitimate or not.

I am not a Toyota fan but I do not sit and pine for them to make mistakes like many do on GM.
