Christmas will be a little more exciting this year than in years past, as Chevrolet is planning a special reveal date for the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado on December 13, 2012 in the Detroit area — a month before the 2013 North American International Auto Show in January.
Assumingly, revealing both a new Silverado and new Corvette during the same show would be too much for one auto show. A unique event is definitely justified. It’s not clear yet as to whether or not the 2014 Silverado will be flanked by the all-new 2014 GMC Sierra at the event, but considering GM’s trend to further separate the two models, the “professional grade” model may reveal itself on a different occasion.

Hope the 13th isn’t a Friday.
It’s a Thursday.
