I finally found the time to shop for a flatbed, and find one my size in stock. I got a CrownLine bed, with 2 small tool boxes. It’s been great, I can load the bed from the side. The bed weighs 970 pounds, I’m guessing the p/u bed weighs about 300 pounds (just a guess), so it’s added a little weight, and maybe a “slightly” smoother ride. I’m really happy with the bed’s construction, and look’s. I just got so used a flatbed, I really don’t think I’ll have a pickup bed again. I’m enjoying the truck, and hope to have it for a long time. I I would post a picture, but I can’t figure out how to.
