Just a month after officially unveiling the full-size SUV in Australia and New Zealand, General Motors has just announced that it has started taking orders for the 2025 GMC Yukon Denali in both Oceania countries.
The automaker’s Australian subsidiary announced that the 2025 GMC Yukon Denali is now available to order in the domestic market and New Zealand, where General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) is introducing the GMC premium truck and utility brand for the first time. As such, the 2025 Yukon Denali represents the American brand’s first product for the region configured with right-hand drive and unique features that will seek to captivate customers.
“We expect the GMC Yukon Denali to redefine premium family transport in Australia and New Zealand, combining eight seats, incredible cargo room, the latest in premium technology, and easy towing with an advanced V8 engine for effortless progress,” said Managing Director GM Australia and New Zealand, Jess Bala. “The Yukon is built in America but re-engineered to right-hand-drive in Australia, delivering factory quality in right-hand drive for our markets,” she added.
As announced last month, GMSV confirmed that the 2025 GMC Yukon Denali will be the only model configuration offered in Australia and New Zealand, featuring premium features that will set new benchmarks for luxury and practicality. The 2025 Yukon Denali will stand out as the only American full-size SUV available in the region, featuring eight seats, state-of-the-art technology and standard 24-inch wheels.
Mechanically, the 2025 GMC Yukon Denali for both Oceania markets is equipped as standard with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 engine developing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, mated to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission. It includes the Active Response 4WD system with an electronic limited-slip differential and a two-speed transfer case, as well as class-leading towing capacity.
Ordering has begun for the 2025 GMC Yukon Denali in Australia and New Zealand, with the first units set to be delivered early in the second quarter of next year. Interested customers can place their order through the brand’s official website or GMSV’s local dealer network in Australia and New Zealand. Here are the official prices for the 2025 Yukon Denali in both countries:
- Australia: $169,990 AUD (about $110,000 USD at current exchange rates)
- NZ: 179,990 NZD ($104,000 USD)

Hey designers……This beast needs a bigger grill…………………….NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure glad New Zealand can order a Yukon when people in the USA can not configure one on the GMC website. All the others Cadillac and Chevrolet you can build and see price on line before going to the dealership. GMC you can’t they are still living in the 2024 model run. Come on GMC update your website!!
GM playing their games again…
I went to my local dealer and they can build one for you on their “GM Workbench.” You’ll get a good idea of price, but obviously you can’t see what you’ve made.
Frustrating.
And just imagine the outrage had it been the other way around: you can build one on the web site but you can’t order one. There’s enough pics on the internet, you should have a good enough idea what it’s going to look like – this is a mild refresh not like a whole new body style. On the Tahoe/Suburban exterior, I’d bet the average person couldn’t tell if it’s a 25 or a 24
Literally preventing me from buying one now. How can they be at dealerships yet we cant build them online?
