First announced in the South American country earlier this year, General Motors has just officially launched the new 2024 Chevy Tracker RS in Argentina.

The automaker launched the 2024 Chevy Tracker RS in Argentina, where Chevrolet’s subcompact crossover has been the leading and best-selling utility vehicle in the local market since last year when it began production at the GM Alvear plant in the South American country. However, the new 2024 Tracker RS is coming to the Argentine market imported from Brazil to expand the model’s offering with a sporty aesthetic for customers looking for greater customization.

“This new version of Tracker reinforces the attitude of people who value a different lifestyle and seek to distinguish themselves with a vehicle with greater personality,” said Commercial Director of GM Argentina, Raúl Mier. “The Tracker RS provides that degree of exclusivity with the bold, sporty and youthful image that characterizes the entire successful RS saga of our brand,” he added.

Notably, the 2024 Chevy Tracker RS arrives in Argentina as a special limited edition of just 100 units with which the brand seeks to raise the appeal of the other versions of the model and continue to boost its sales. As such, the Tracker RS is distinguished by including exclusive elements such as a mesh-design grille, a blacked-out overall finish, a black Chevy logo, a completely dark interior, and distinctive RS emblems.

Like the rest of the brand’s RS vehicles, the 2024 Chevy Tracker RS does not include any mechanical novelties, thus maintaining the turbocharged 1.2L I3 engine with 133 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque, coupled exclusively to the six-speed automatic transmission. Likewise, the 2024 Tracker RS retains standard front-wheel drive as standard like the rest of the crossover variants.

The new 2024 Chevy Tracker RS is now available for sale at the official Chevrolet dealer network in Argentina, with a suggested price of 31,916,900 pesos equivalent to about $35,450 USD at the current exchange rate. As such, this new version becomes the range-topping trim level of the Tracker in the Argentine market and is offered in Summit White, Chilli Red, Rush Met Gray and Black Meet Kettle body colors.

  1. I really wish the Tracker was still sold in the USA… it’s got the interior simplicity and exterior styling that Trailblazer doesn’t quite nail.
