Just two months after the debut of the updated 2025 Chevy Spin in Brazil, General Motors has just officially launched Chevrolet‘s refreshed subcompact MPV in the South American country.
The automaker’s Brazilian subsidiary finally launched the updated 2025 Chevy Spin in the domestic Brazilian market, presenting all the new features of the vehicle that goes from being the most outdated to one of the most technologically advanced models that the company manufactures in the country. In fact, the 2025 Spin represents the most significant update in the nameplate’s history and introduces significant design, technology, safety and efficiency improvements.
“The development of the New Spin followed exactly the suggestions from the vehicle’s user groups. Research showed that the product did have opportunities for improvements, including finishes and content,” said Director of Product Marketing at GM South America, Paula Saiani. “However, one requirement was that certain aspects should not be radically changed, such as the price range, the cabin concept and the powertrain. We went further to exceed expectations with the most comprehensive update in Spin’s history,” she added.
With four variants spread across three trim levels (LT, LTZ and Premier), the updated 2025 Chevy Spin adopts a set of crossover design elements such as a taller and more robust front end, a body with greater ground clearance, standard roof rails and lower-body protective moldings throughout the lower contour. The new front proportions and its elevated stance improve the aesthetic proposal of the best-selling seven-seater vehicle in Brazil.
The most significant change to the new 2025 Chevy Spin is the completely redesigned interior with substantial design, technology and comfort improvements. The 2025 Spin debuts Chevrolet’s Virtual Cockpit System in Brazil with an 11-inch infotainment touchscreen and 8-inch driver instrument cluster. It also adopts new dashboard, steering wheel, seats, upholstery, ambient lighting and climate control with rear air vents – for the first time in the model.
Mechanically, the 2025 Chevy Spin maintains the naturally aspirated 1.8L I4 engine producing 111 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque, but with updates that improve its fuel efficiency while reducing emissions, thanks to a new electronic management module. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission in the base LT version and a six-speed automatic in all other versions.
The updated 2025 Chevy Spin has officially launched in Brazil and will go on sale in the dealer network from the end of this month, becoming the most comprehensively equipped model in its category that has led since its initial launch in 2012. Units of the 2025 Spin have already begun to be manufactured at the GM São Caetano do Sul plant to supply the Brazilian market and other countries in South America.
