Updated 2025 Chevy Spin MPV Officially Debuts In Brazil

Just a week after General Motors teased the imminent unveiling of the vehicle, the updated 2025 Chevy Spin has just officially debuted in Brazil.

The automaker’s Brazilian subsidiary revealed the first official images and features of the updated 2025 Chevy Spin, presenting a new evolution of Chevrolet‘s subcompact MPV with substantial changes that make it look more like a crossover and raise its level of customer appeal. In fact, this is the biggest evolutionary leap for the Spin since its birth in 2012 and includes notable design, technology and performance adjustments.

“The Spin has always stood out for attributes such as its large interior space, mechanical robustness and cost-benefit ratio. The new model goes further, to surprise and meet consumer needs,” said Director of Product Marketing at GM South America, Paula Saiani. “We even changed the structural part of the New Spin, while maintaining its main virtues. The model will continue to be offered in seven-seater and five-seater versions, which are distinguished by the largest trunk among domestically produced passenger vehicles,” she added.

While maintaining the same Gamma platform and body structure as the current model, the updated 2025 Chevy Spin introduces a major design change, with a completely new front fascia that adopts the brand’s latest global aesthetic evolution. The new features include a massive sculpted Y-shaped grille at the ends, large triangular full LED headlights embedded in the grille and a taller hood that significantly improves its presence.

The updated 2025 Chevy Spin also receives redesigned front fenders, beefier protective plastic moldings, and new wheels. The rear section gets changes as well, with new taillamps, bumpers and liftgate. GM claims the 2025 Spin is taller due to suspension adjustments, while changes to powertrain and steering calibrations are said to improve driving dynamics and deliver more refined performance.

For its part, the interior of the 2025 Chevy Spin was completely redesigned with changes that will make the vehicle’s spacious cabin more modern and technological. The most notable novelty is the latest generation of the Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system now integrated with the digital driver instrument panel, following the cockpit layout concept of the brand’s global line of vehicles. It will also receive a new steering wheel, new seats and more safety features.

The updated 2025 Chevy Spin will launch at the end of the first quarter of the year in Brazil, where it will be presented live to the entire country in March during the broadcast of the hit reality show Big Brother Brasil. The 2025 Spin will be the first of six Chevrolet launches in the country during 2024 and will seek to maintain its position as the most successful seven-seat vehicle in Brazil. Details on trim levels and powertrain will be revealed later.

  1. Front end is much better looking on the 2024.

    1. The 2024 identifies as a motor vehicle. 2025 identifies as an alien predator. And to think, Chevrolet used to have a universally recognizable “friendly” face.

  2. I wouldn’t mind seeing GM offer this and Onix to Ford to bring to the USA as re-badges. Because Chevy is already strong with smaller vehicles. These probably aren’t a net c.a.f.e. benefit, but Ford dealers have no real entry level.

  3. I have a 2022, purchased new in Argentina. It has a ton of space but is a little underpowered on 2 lane passing situations. I live on California but it’s my car down there. The my link is fine and the cockpit is a little dated but equivalent to a 2015 Chevy. It has a great 6 speed automatic and stability control. I would have given it a slightly better engine — it’s 105 hp now and gets crappy mileage (25 mpg about). It could also add side airbags and vented rear discs.
