Chevy Trailblazer inventory levels across the United States remain low in the beginning of March 2023, sources familiar with the matter tell GM Authority.
There were just 4,041 units of the Chevy Trailblazer on the ground at dealerships as of March 1st, 2023, which is slightly up as compared to figures last month. This gives the Trailblazer a 12 days supply, meaning there is sufficient Trailblazer inventory in dealerships to last approximately 12 days at the current sales pace. For reference, the industry average is roughly a 60 days supply.
As a reminder, the Chevy Trailblazer is set to receive a mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 model year. This update will feature a redesigned front fascia, overhauled interior, new wheel designs unique to each trim level, and a bevy of new standard features. Production of the upcoming 2024 Trailblazer is currently scheduled for July 2023.
In regard to the current 2023 Trailblazer, the Bow Tie brand’s subcompact crossover was a reasonably popular vehicle over the course of the 2022 calendar year. In fact, GM sold over 60,000 units during that time period, while Consumer Reports gave the Trailblazer a “recommended” rating.

Unbelievable , this vehicle has been on the market almost 3 years and GM still refuses to supply enough inventory to meet demand.
I checked a dealer this week and saw 1 only Trailblazer, an Active model. The next day I went back and it was gone .
The other 2 dealers I checked have no inventory . I have purchased over 40 new GM vehicles since 1973 and am becoming very disappointed with their business practices. Sadly my next new vehicle may not be GM !!
Was planning to get a new Colorado , but if the experience is the same as the Trailblazer trying to get a vehicle, I will try another manufacturer!!
have you ever thought of reserving one that was in transit to the dealer? That’s what we do at the dealer I work at.
How many articles on this site regarding low availability across Chevy models? Nice work, Mary.
Imagine a HOT 3 banger. Who knew?
I was lucky to get mine in February of 2023. The dealership was surprised they even had that particular one I was interested in. I got a 2023 Activ AWD Model in Sterling Gray Metallic. It’s two-toned.
These sales numbers all all over the map. Generally I think GM could be selling a lot more vehicles if they could just get them on the lots and control dealer over-pricing. Also, probably too much money and effort spent on EV’s with little demand. GM needs new leadership.
Stop under powering ICE vehicles! I don’t mind buying gas!
Sorry, I helped reduce that inventory by one RS.
Nice vehicle. I’ve had a RS for about 6 months now. 3 banger works well in this car. I wouldn’t call it quick but it is peppy and does good for what it is. Would be nice if they would offer something with a little more performance for the RS version. My wife is happy with it as it does get decent fuel mileage but for me I would like alittle more HP.
I would guess the low inventory is due to supply chain issues. I know there is a shortage of chips. Can’t build cars without chips.
