Hopefully I will get my promised” in writing” microchip for the heated front seats in my new 2022 GMC Terrain built in June 2021 shipped during Covid to the dealer in in January 2022 then purchased and driven till now ,hopefully they will get these vehicles currently in service updated with chips prior to November 2022 or it will be traded prior to upgrade ,sadly !
With the chip shortage $1000 is still generous. Terrain isn’t a popular model this general and isn’t moving fast like First Gen Terrain did.
It’s a nice vehicle, drives nicely, but doesn’t seem to be a hit. GM is slow to react, reskin, relaunch.
Is anyone actually getting discounts? I keep hearing stories of people thrilled to get their vehicles at MSRP.
Have most of the people knocking the 1.5 had a GM vehicle so equipped and had bad experiences with the motor? We were lucky to locate a well equipped, new 2020 Equinox LT and made the purchase in Feb, 2021 and recived approx $6000 off the $31 K sticker right before the chip shortage hit (thankful for timing!). I have found the 1.5 to have plenty of power and great mpg. I have never driven a vehicle with the 2.0, however as other vehicles are 17 Camaro RS V6, 02 3800 V6 Impala with 185K, 30 Mpg on road, bought new and my 79 vette, bought in87 with 110K L48 and still original powertrain, never rebuilt. Wife loves the Equinox. Have wondered why the 1.5 needs a 160 speedometer however! LOL
Davy ,I agree with your assessment 100% of the 2022 Terrain ,I have a 2022 SLT with AWD it’s well built and performs very well and is good on gas mileage ,In 2020 I had a new Equinox 2.0litre with 250 HP, it certainly had more power and torque steer ,but overall I like my 2022 Terrain better it is a more balanced daily driver and has no rattles and performs great as a Family and shopping hauler !
Meant vette bought in 87 with 20K on it, now has has approx 110K as cruise control transducers bad to break speedos over the years. BTW, checked mpg in 87 and it was 13.9. Never checked since.
