Cadillac XT6 discount incentives for the 2020 XT6 have been rather insignificant during recent months. The conservative offers are to be expected, as the brand-new nameplate just entered the market at the very end of the Q2 2019. That said, Cadillac is now offering interest-free financing in addition to the familiar $1,500 cashback rebate. To our knowledge, this is still the most cash Cadillac has ever offered for the 2020 XT6.
Incentives
The nationwide Cadillac XT6 discount offers in January 2020 are as follows:
- Lease Offer: $1,500 cash for current eligible GM lessees
- To qualify, buyer must have a lease through GM Financial
- Retail Offer: $1,500 purchase allowance
- Finance Offer: $1,500 purchase allowance + 0 percent APR (interest-free financing) for 60 months
- For well-qualified buyers
Interested parties should note that the above Cadillac XT6 discount offers will run through February 3rd, 2020.
For reference, here are the 2020 XT6 trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, $995 destination charge included:
- Premium Luxury – $53,690
- Sport – $58,090
It’s worth highlighting that the Cadillac XT6 discount offer is available for both 2020 Premium Luxury and Sport models.

About Cadillac XT6
The Cadillac XT6 is a three-row premium luxury crossover. The model represents a new addition to the Cadillac model range as part of the brand's crossover expansion strategy. It slots above the the compact Cadillac XT4 and midsize Cadillac XT5 in the Cadillac crossover SUV lineup. Its size classification can be best described as "midsize plus", as it is bigger than midsize but not big enough to be classified as full-size.
The XT6 was announced at the 2019 North American International Auto Show in January 2019 and goes on sale in the spring of the 2019 calendar year as a 2020 model. It is based on the regular-length variant of the GM C1 platform shared with the XT5, but with more rear overhang than the XT5. That extended rear overhang enables it to accommodate a third row. The rest of the vehicle is very similar to the XT5, including its engine, transmission, and cockpit.
The XT5 is produced at the following GM plants globally:
- GM Spring Hill factory in Tennessee or GM Lansing Delta plant operated by GM USA supplying North American markets
- Cadillac China Jinqiao factory operated by Shanghai-GM supplying the Chinese market

what is that, looks like a chevy for cad money
Right on Robert, black plastic from Chevy wall to wall ,the designers have lost the flair and flow of past elegant models like Riviera or Roadmaster Buicks and Caddy’s Eldorados well endowed with tasteful chrome type mouldings to give them the expensive look, today they all look like various degrees and shades of gray shoe boxes on wheels ,Blah ,no pizzas!
Truly a sea of cheap black plastic inside. It may not share parts with the Traverse but it might as well as the design sophistication and material quality are the same even if the shapes are different.
As I said elsewhere, when Motor Trend interviewed Mary and asked about the disaster that is today’s Cadillac, she replied that everything was fine because the XT4 sells well. She must believe that because she sees a sizable number of XT4s in the parking lot when she hits up Kohl’s on her regular wardrobe runs. I would argue though that she lives in the upper Midwest vacuum where smart separates from Kohl’s pass for fashion and as long as these cheaply made Cadillac SUVs sell decently, all is well. Johan dy Nysschen tried to banish this mindset at GM//Cadillac but it’s obviously back now in full-force following his exit.
I bet if GM sole these for $15,000.00 off, they would soon be Cadillacs #1 seller !!
That was a joke, but that’s what it will take !!
The hunt by GM to raise the transaction price, is followed by the discounted vehicles in a year to year and a half, if that !!
At least for these cheap Chevy Cadillacs !
Look at the #3 selling GM truck, rebate, after rebate, after rebate !
GM, I bet you a billion dollars, if you sold these for a dollar, they would sell like mad, everyone would want one, you could truthfully say, that the Cadillac XT6 is the most popular, number one selling vehicle in the world !!!!
For a dollar !
Or better yet, just quit making anything else, that also would sell more of these, If it were the only Cadillac made !!
O that’s right, then people would go elsewhere and your market share would fall !
Isn’t that’s what’s happening ?
Anyone know if the XT6’s active cruise control can take the car to a complete stop, then restart in heavy traffic?
So incentives cash AND zero % financing and the XT4, XT5 and CT6….. how can that be in an SUV crazed market? GMs pathetic “cheap your way to success” is failing as we all predicted. This insanity is further damaging the Cadillac brand…. how much longer till heads roll? I honestly think the only way to save GM is a breakthrough new CEO and a major shakeup up in Sr Mgt. The right CEO would send a positive signal to the market and IMO help the company and stock.
Hyundai cannot make the Telluride or Palisade fast enough for demand and dealers are marking them up! While “technically” none of these “compete” with Cadillac they have a formula that is working. Style, content and value. Zero GM divisions deliver a cohesive message AND those 3.
If GM doesn’t act soon I say it’s adios in 10 years or less!
Oh and the incentives and financing land on the CT4 & CT5? Perhaps next month?
I hope so, I’ve seen the CT4/5 in person, They’re sharp-looking. The XT6 is not bad but doesn’t look good as the Aviator and (since someone will bring it up) it’s better looking than the Telluride.
I know everyone gets upset at me for stating the same thing over and over again but it is vital GM gets the whole Cadillac Brand thing right. It has potential to be a Cash Cow.
GM, please oh please stop letting the Beancounters run your Brands. Luxury vehicles CANNOT under any circumstance have Chevy Drive-trains and even worse Chevy like interior materials.
Get Cadillac Right. It isn’t Rocket Science.
Offer MORE for LESS. You are NOT the leader. You are chasing.
EV Cadillacs might be their last Chance to save Cadillac.
Momolos,
I’m not tired of hearing it. You speak the truth. I just wish Mark and Mary were listening.
