GMC Discount Drops Sierra 1500 Price By 18 Percent In October 2019

GMC Sierra sales increased 29 percent to 66,198 units in the third quarter of 2019, with Sierra 1500 sales growing 38 percent to 47,743. The results are to be expected, as the launch of the all-new T1-platform Sierra is complete. With units of the all-new truck now readily available on dealership lots, a new GMC discount cuts the price of select 2019 Sierra models by as much as 18 percent.

It’s worth clarifying that a similar GMC discount was offered throughout most of the third quarter, including in July and in August. Meanwhile, a second GMC discount offers over $10,000 off specific models of the new Sierra 1500. Earlier in the year, such an offer was exclusive to the previous-generation K2 model, which GM is no longer incentivizing.

The Incentives

Nationwide GMC discount offers for Sierra 1500 models during the month of October are as follows:

  • 2019 Sierra 1500 (Crew Cab SLE models):  0-percent interest for 72 months + $1,500 cash for well-qualified buyers who finance with GM Financial
  • 2019 Sierra 1500 (Crew Cab SLE models): 18-percent cash rebate below MSRP for current GM owners and lessees
  • 2019 Sierra 1500 (Crew Cab SLT models):  0-percent interest for 72 months for well-qualified buyers who finance with GM Financial
  • 2019 Sierra 1500 (Crew Cab 4WD with SLT Premium Plus Package): $3,532 Price Reduction Below MSRP + $5,500 Purchase Allowance + $1,000 Option Package Discount = $10,032 total value
  • 2019 Sierra 1500 (Double Cab models): $6,000 Purchase Allowance
  • 2019 Sierra 1500 (Double Cab models):  0-percent interest for 72 months + $1,250 cash for well-qualified buyers who finance with GM Financial

Interested parties should note that all of the above GMC discount offers will run through October 31st, 2019. We should also note that the 18-percent GMC discount offer is not exclusive to current GM owners and lessees, unlike the incentive offered last month. This means all buyers qualify for the discount.

  1. Glad they built up inventory while the union wasn’t on strike.

The Sierra has been very popular lately.

  2. The representation that Sierra slt models are readily available is flat out bogus. I’ve spent over a month trying to find any 3L diesel slt and they just don’t exist.
